MAX forestry tiller and undergrowth mulcher for Moritz

Alongside the new generation of the Moritz mini forestry tractor, Pfanzelt is also introducing a new forestry mulcher - the MAX forestry tiller. It is adapted to the new Moritz performance class and also offers new technical features. The MAX forestry tiller is one of the lightest undergrowth mulchers in its performance class. It was specially developed as an attachment for the remote-controlled Moritz implement carrier.

Areas of application of the MAX forestry tiller

The Moritz and MAX forestry tiller are THE team for professional landscape and crop management. They can also showcase their power and vigour in track maintenance duties.

Maintenance of green areas

Site clearance

Landscaping

Maintaining tracks

Maintenance of young stock and cultivated areas

Preparing for planting

Forwarding trails and land development

Firebreaks, forest fire prevention

The technology in detail

The hydraulic front flap enables stationary material to be cut down and horizontal material to be processed. Counter-cutting blades are integrated into the front panel for optimised regrinding. During the second pass, the material is thus incorporated into the top ground layer.

The forestry tiller is equipped with 40 fixed carbide-tipped interchangeable teeth. The round teeth are arranged around the rotor in a spiral formation. These can be used three times by simply rotating.

To adapt to the terrain structure or when driving on steep terrain, the MAX forestry tiller can be moved sideways hydraulically by +/- 20 cm. The forestry tiller is driven powerfully and energy-efficiently by the mechanical PTO shaft of the Moritz.

Press unit

The MAX forestry tiller has a hydraulic hold-down device. This also enables standing trees or hanging bushes several metres high to be pressed down optimally for cutting.

The remote-controlled Moritz implement carrier as the basis for the MAX forestry tiller

The Moritz impresses with its low ground pressure, compact dimensions and low centre of gravity. So it can easily travel over sensitive subsoil just as easily as steep slopes.

All the functions of the Moritz can be operated via the convenient and ergonomic wireless control. Since it can be driven one-handed with a joystick, the operator always has the second hand free to operate the implement.

The combination of many details enables high performance, easy operation and optimal mulching results with low power requirements.
